The Union Belongs To You

Elections are the annual chance for students to contribute to the discussion and issues that matter most. From housing costs, to securing the rights of minority students. Elections give every student a chance to their voice heard, whether you stand for office or or vote to change the course of your student life.

Standing for election means you want to make a difference. It is about making positive changes for students by shaping the university experience at York in line with students’ needs, views and experiences.

Officers, Academic Reps and NUS Delegates are all elected to communicate a wide range of issues to the University and on a national level.
