Vote for Agnieszka and Hassan!

Who best to represent the international students on campus than the international students themselves, for we come from completely different countries (Poland and Pakistan) and have ties with many other cultures.

We have experience in representing international students at University of York, with Hassan being the Islamic Society President and managing a diverse community, and Agnieszka being the Polish Society President and managing a small but ambitious group. We both study Law and are in our second year, which makes the communication between us easier and our legal background makes us apt to tackle important issues of administration and management.

We have many ties to the international community at University of York and have listened carefully to their problems, and have devised the following strategy to help their position:

1. We want to expand the very succesful scheme of International Student's Asssociation Wednesday's meetings.

2. We want to continue the succesful schemes developed in recent years such as the ISA Winter Ball, Global Week etc.

3. We want to combat any discrimination against international students, spreading awareness about inclusivity through events and discussion.

4. We want to facilitate effective communication between the office of International Student's Officer and International Students by finding ways to get your voice heard, through drop-in sessions or otherwise.

We count on your vote!
